     The KNV-MICRO Monocular is an ultra small, American Made, Generation III image intensified night vision device that truly brings the term “Pocketscope” into definition. Yet the MICRO is much more than just a Pocketscope...it can also be Head or Helmet Mounted, Weapon Mounted, or adapted to a camera. The greatest feature besides being smaller &  lighter than the PVS-14 and is fully submersible to a depth of 66 feet (20 Meters).  
 

     The KNV-MICRO’s small profile truly means that it will fit into a pocket for the ultimate night surveillance device, and its easily interchangeable CCTV objective lens means that when conditions warrant, a higher magnification objective lens can be used for longer range observation. The MICRO camera adapter (optional) also allows it to quickly and easily be attached to a camcorder or digital camera for recording night time pictures and videos.

The KNV-MICRO’s ability to be attached to the standard AN/PVS-14 head and helmet mounts via the optional adapter, allows the MICRO to utilize all standard AN/PVS-14 and AN/PVS-7B head and helmet mounts, which is great for hands free night time navigation.

The MICRO can also be utilized with the optional AN/PVS-14 Weapon Mount as a night vision weapon sight when used behind collimated reflex type sights such as the ELCAN, Aimpoint, or EOTech sights.

The KNV-MICRO provides crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. The same high quality tube as the ITT6015 but with a higher resolution. Utilizing the most advanced Mil. Spec. housing, this system is built to handle the toughest of environments.

     The “Single tube /Single eyepiece” approach to night vision is based upon the proven concept that the independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the user to operate under a wide range of low light conditions. This tactic tends to enhance the field of view, while reducing the risk of temporary night blindness typically associated with night vision goggles. The user retains his full peripheral vision in the unaided eye in conjunction with the 40° Field Of View (FOV)  offered by the night vision device.

The KNV-MICRO can be installed on an optional Dual-Carriage Head-Mount providing a dual eye configuration like the AN/PVS-15 (BNVS). Both the Headmount Swing Arm Assembly and Weapon-Mount Attachment can be attached to the at the same time, reducing the time needed to remove one to install the other. Critical in a combat situation.

    The included Weapons Mount and Head Mount can be attached to the KNV-MICRO AT THE SAME TIME for quick interchangeability as stated earlier, and you have the versatility to use either a single AA, or 3.5 volt lithium battery offering more flexibility and longer battery life. The integrated IR illuminator enhances the ability of the user to read maps, and operate in confined spaces. The KNV-MICRO is compatible with most all weapon mounted IR laser aiming and illuminating devices.
